ENERGY EFFICIENCY LAB

The lab focuses on measuring energy consumption, identifying energy losses and evaluating the efficiency of electrical, mechanical & thermal systems. Experiments will involve instruments such as power analyzers, thermal imaging cameras and data loggers to assess equipment performance & building energy use.

ADVANCED FLUID MECHANICS LAB

The lab covers areas such as turbulent flows, flow over surfaces and thermoacoustic systems. Experiments use advanced tools like pressure sensors and visualization techniques to observe and measure flow behaviour.

APPLIED SOLAR ENGINEERING LAB (ASEL)

This lab emphasizes practical applications of solar thermal and photovoltaic technologies, enabling students to bridge theoretical knowledge with real-world energy solutions.

APPLIED MECHANICAL DESIGN LAB

AMDL is established in 2019 focusing on structural testing to support researches and industrial projects in Malaysia. Due to high demand for structure testing, management of AMDL decided to apply for ISO 17025 certification in 2021. With the support from UTeM, FTKM and CARe, AMDL managed to get ISO certification in 17 October 2024.
